As a Security Guard - Government Perimeter Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and provide directions or information as needed.
• Collaborate with local authorities and/or emergency personnel during incidents, supporting a coordinated response.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or unwanted activity within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being able to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
