Security Officer - Shopping Center Patrol

As a Security Officer - Shopping Center Patrol in Roseville, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. You will remain visible throughout your shift, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats within the location to management and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and employees with directions and general information about the location.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as assigned.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security-related concerns and maintain a professional presence at the location.
• Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
