As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm professionalism. You will complete routine rounds, report observations, and deliver customer service that builds trust with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, parking areas, and access points, as required by post orders.
  • Control access to the location by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials as required, and directing visitors to designated areas.
  • Monitor alarms, surveillance systems, and other security-related equipment, and report irregular activity per site procedures.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
  • Assist with de-escalation of conflicts and provide clear directions to help maintain orderly operations within the location.
  • Support security-related screening procedures when assigned, such as observing for prohibited items and reporting concerns per policy.
  • Perform opening and closing checks as assigned, including verifying doors, gates, and restricted areas are secured per site-specific policy.
  • Interact professionally with employees, customers, vendors, and emergency responders, following post orders and escalation guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Loss Prevention - preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
  • State, County, or City Issued Security License - preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
