As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and professionalism will support a positive atmosphere while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, where you will be responsible for routine patrols and visible engagement, reflecting our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the operations of a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the logistics and distribution location to help to deter potential security-related issues.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activities encountered during patrols or while on post.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and maintain a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
