PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: To execute cycle count process within assigned areas in support of company inventory accuracy initiatives. Lead and or support efforts to continuously improve inventory accuracy. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct cycle counts, thorough investigation and reconciliation of inventory variances, and post cycle counts.
- Determine root cause issues for inventory discrepancies and communicate / participate in corrective actions.
- Coordinate and communicate with other shifts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Responsible for monitoring progress towards weekly / monthly count requirements and proactively communicate with leadership to ensure goals are met.
- Participates actively as a team member through lean activities / continuous improvement processes to improve inventory accuracy. * Coordinate inventory audits with finance / auditors.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- 1-3 years performance in production or materials
- Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards and the Internet
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of material flow processes.
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures, and ability to promote compliance with them.
- Skill in analytical thinking and problem solving.
- Skill in communicating effectively through oral and written communications.
- Ability to identify and support continuous improvement.
- Ability to sustain and drive lean manufacturing and 5S activities.
- Ability to operator waves and Joey's
- Comfortability with heights
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstance and have the ability to thrive in a constantly changing business environment.
- Ability to function in a high stress, high pressure environment, with a positive attitude.
- Ability to solve ambiguous problems with unique solutions.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $14.80 - $27.50 Per Hour
