What You'll Do

We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Accessibility Analyst to join our team. This part-time role focuses on managing and reporting key business metrics for digital content and compliance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting monthly scans, ensuring quality assurance, and generating comprehensive reports that provide insights into various business activities. Additional responsibilities include answering accessibility-related questions and monitoring the Help Desk. This position is essential to ensuring digital assets are accessible to all end users while maintaining comprehensive data management and reporting practices.

This role is expected to require approximately 10-20 hours per week and will be structured as a 1099 independent contractor position.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Scanning

• Conduct monthly scans using the designated applications.
• Oversee application performance throughout the scanning process to ensure optimal efficiency.

Quality Assurance

• Perform quality assurance checks on completed scans to ensure adherence to process requirements.

Accessibility Consultant

• Consults as needed on accessibility or remediation questions.
• Help Desk Monitoring

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong understanding of Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 accessibility and compliance
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• VA Enabled - Tier 2 Public Trust Clearance
