As a Security Officer - Industrial Gate Driver in Weiner, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will support access control by greeting visitors, checking badges, managing entry logs, and monitoring assigned areas for security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and provide strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, visitors, and/or employees by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff an access control post at a manufacturing and industrial location, monitoring entry points and controlling access to authorized areas.
• Verify identification, check-in procedures, and/or visitor credentials in accordance with site requirements, issuing temporary access as directed by site policy.
• Monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, access control panels, and/or alarm notifications, and report irregular activity according to protocol.
• Maintain a visible presence at designated entrances, lobbies, and/or receiving areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and support an orderly flow of personnel and deliveries.
• Document incidents, visitor activity, and/or access events, completing reports and log entries that are accurate and timely.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services when required.
• Support loading dock and delivery access processes by confirming appointment information, directing drivers to appropriate areas, and/or coordinating with site contacts per site policy.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel, vendors, and/or emergency responders using radios, phones, and/or other approved methods.
• Follow key control and/or badge control procedures when assigned, accounting for issued items and reporting discrepancies per site policy.
• Assist with enforcing site rules related to restricted areas, prohibited items, and/or PPE requirements by advising individuals of site expectations and notifying management when noncompliance is observed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned and permitted by post orders. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
