Experience leading, maturing and helping enable Agile processes in a hybrid environment (Waterfall and Agile) *Why is this role open? * Growing scope of demand is creating greater complexity in how the ServiceNow Platform Engineering team delivers user stories from intake through development, release and into production. They are looking for a Scrum Master to support their SLC to more effectively manage user stories from Intake through deployment to production. *Description* We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead a dynamic ServiceNow development team working across multiple business programs and modules, including IT Service Management (ITSM), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Customer Service Management (CSM) and Employee Center. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with the ServiceNow Agile module to drive process improvements, foster collaboration, and ensure delivery excellence in a regulated quality environment. This role is pivotal in increasing the velocity, efficiency, and effectiveness of both Business Analysts and Developers, while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and industry regulations. Key Responsibilities *Agile Leadership & Facilitation oServe as Scrum Master for multiple ServiceNow development teams. oFacilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. oCoach teams on Agile principles, ensuring adherence to Scrum practices and continuous improvement. *ServiceNow Expertise oGuide teams in leveraging the ServiceNow Agile module for backlog management, sprint tracking, and reporting. oPartner with Business Engagement Lead to prioritize features across ITSM, GRC, SPM, HAMPro, Employee Center, and CSM modules. oEnsure alignment of development efforts with business objectives and compliance requirements. *Process Improvement oIdentify bottlenecks and implement strategies to improve team velocity and throughput. oDrive automation and efficiency in workflows, testing, and release management. oPromote best practices for documentation, testing, and deployment in a regulated environment. *Stakeholder Management oAct as a bridge between business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams. oProvide transparent reporting on sprint progress, risks, and dependencies. oFacilitate cross-program coordination to ensure seamless delivery across modules. *Quality & Compliance oEnsure all deliverables meet regulatory and organizational quality standards. oSupport audit readiness and compliance documentation for ServiceNow implementations. oChampion a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Required Skills & Experience *Proven experience as a Scrum Master in ServiceNow development environments. *Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban). *Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow Agile module. *Familiarity with multiple ServiceNow modules: ITSM, GRC, SPM, HAMPro, Employee Center, CSM. *Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills. *Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. *Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, pharma) with strict compliance requirements. *Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously and coordinate cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications *Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification. *ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS in ITSM/GRC/SPM/CSM). *Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in ServiceNow. *Knowledge of ITIL processes and governance frameworks. *Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Waukegan, IL. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
