We are currently searching for a Fall/Psychotropic Medication Nurse to join our team. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be Eligible for consideration applicants will need:

• A minimum of 1 year RN experience (in SNF preferred but not required)

• An unencumbered State of Illinois RN license

• CPR Certification

Responsibilities:

As a Psychotropic/Fall Nurse you are the backbone of the clinical department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect and deserve at Healthcare Nursing. You will screen and access all residents on psychotropic medications for clinical appropriateness, monitoring for adverse reactions and evaluating the potential of drug reductions, completing MDS documentation and evaluations, obtaining informed consents, completing care plans for residents on psychotropic medications and coordinating psychiatric services.
