Account Manager, Senior - Public Sector/Federal Market

The Account Manager, Sr. will be responsible hunting net new business and developing sales opportunities within existing in the FEDERAL sector. The Account Manager, Sr. shall identify and qualify sales opportunities and execute intelligent pursuit plans. The Account Manager, Sr. will position Infor Cloud ERP Cloud Suite Public Sector and Operations & Regulations (Licensing and Permitting, Utility Billing, Asset Management) in complex enterprise FEDERAL & Utilities markets.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Articulate the Infor value proposition and successfully communicate the competitive advantages, resources and processes to client and prospects.
  • Work closely with prospective & existing clients to understand their business objectives and create appropriate solution to meet their business needs.
  • Challenge your clients and prospects to think differently by developing compelling value propositions based on ROI cost/benefit analysis.
  • Develop customer account strategies and tactical penetration plans and establish, document and maintain solid communication and follow-up procedures for all assigned accounts.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.
  • Generate pipeline and achieve or exceed consistent quarterly quota achievement.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience selling ERP business solutions to the Federal Market/Public Sector.
  • Experience establishing and managing executive level customer relationships across an organization.
  • Experience managing salees cycles simultaneously.
  • Experience developing business relationships with extended team members to drive sales.
  • Experience working in a quota-driven role.
  • Ability to Travel up to 50%.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
  • Experience working with enterprise business processes.
  • Experience working cross functionally in a matrix-management environment with extended team members.
  • Experience working with the SI, Reseller, and Distributer partner communities.
  • Experience selling Licensing and Permitting, Utility Billing, Asset Management.
  • Experience in MEDPICC Sales Strategies.

Location: Remote based role Eastern US (Office hubs in Atlanta, GA & Dallas, TX)
