Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a Black Hawk Systems Engineer to support the SRD Division. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Provide full-time aerospace engineering support to the SRD Division.

  • Provide worldwide technical and engineering support for U.S. Army H-60 rotorcraft.

  • Will specialize in drivetrain vibration monitoring, rotor smoothing, and shaft balances.

  • Provide engineering support for HUMS systems.

  • Evaluate and guide coefficients and algorithms.

  • Review IVHMS field testing and engineering evaluation.

  • Write test plans, collect test data, and evaluate test results.

  • Lead meetings and provide engineering expertise.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's and 16 years of experience preferred.

  • An acceptable alternative is a PhD and 13 years/Master's and 15 years.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with HUMS operations.

  • Familiarity with US Army documents and manuals.

  • Familiarity with US Army Helicopters with strong experience on the H-60 platform.Strong written and oral communication skills.
