Line Worker

Perform basic manufacturing and packaging functions related to production of bird and small animal food products or fish food products. Line workers are responsible for a variety of tasks, including placing, packing boxes, stacking pallets, reworking product or product packaging, cleaning, and other general manufacturing duties.

• Perform a variety of manufacturing tasks, packing bags or tubs of product into boxes, stacking product onto pallets, line clean-up, and general cleaning and housekeeping

• Identifyand report quality defects and Food Safety concerns

• Rework product and product packaging as directed

• Perform basic machine operations involved with packaging product

• Maintaina tidyworkplace using lean manufacturing and 5Sprinciples

• Follow all food safety required procedures.

• Comply withall company policies and procedures

• Other duties as assigned

• Being flexible with daily duties that are assigned.
• Practice good GMP's

  • One year (1)related experience and/or training
  
  
  
  

• Able to read,comprehend, and legibly write English.

• Able tolift upto20lbs.

• Mustpossessorganizational and teamwork skills

• Able to stand atwork stationsand use material handling equipment to move products.

• Able tooperatedigital and dial scales.

• Exposure to hot and cold warehouse climate

• Frequent exposure to motorized warehouse equipment

• Frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and stooping
