Shift: Business hours, typically 8am-4:30pm
Pay: Starting pay of $78,083.20/year, with more based on experience
Weekend/Holidays: No weekends or holidays!

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a Patient Safety Specialist to join our Quality and Patient Safety department.

As a Patient Safety Specialist at Emplify Health by Gundersen, you'll play a key role in advancing our mission of delivering safe, highquality care rooted in LOVE + MEDICINE. What You Will Do

• Support and facilitate ongoing patient safety and safetyculture performance improvement activities

• Partner closely with clinical and operational leaders to promote high reliability, clinical excellence, and zero preventable patient harm

• Review, analyze, and trend safety events to identify opportunities for improvement

• Lead and support root cause analyses and other investigative processes

• Codesign safety initiatives to enhance systemlevel patient safety performance

• Promote a nonpunitive culture of continuous learning and improvement

• Support patient safety recognition programs and communication initiatives

• Serve as a resource and educator for departments on patient safety principles and best practices

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or allied health field

• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
