What You'll Do * Participate in the design and development of software features for Cisco collaboration devices. * Collaborate with senior technical leaders and engineering teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions. * Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects and performance issues. * Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and testing activities to ensure software quality. * Support continuous improvement initiatives and adopt best practices in software development. * Engage in learning and applying new technologies relevant to Cisco's device software ecosystem. * Develops remediation plans and alternatives to ensure timely delivery. * Identifies and acts upon opportunities to assist others. * Mentors peers and/or engineering interns. Required Qualifications * Bachelors + 5 years of related experience, or Masters + 3 years of related experience. * Relevant experience in software development for network devices or embedded systems. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. * Effective communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience managing and writing automation tests. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid. The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below: New York City Metro Area: $152,500.00 - $252,000.00Non-Metro New York state & Washington state: $135,800.00 - $224,400.00* For quota-based sales roles on Cisco's sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined. ** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements. | |
