• 2 years of warehouse experience required
• Work is very physical and requires constant bending, stooping, twisting, and standing on a concrete floor
• Involves hand sorting and palletizing of mail in addition to machine-assisted sorting
• Must work at a fast pace while maintaining high accuracy
• Stay strong - lift 50 pounds and stay on your feet

Key Responsibilities

• Sort mail pieces known as flats (typically 9O12 envelopes) using both machines and manual methods
• Prepare outgoing permit and metered mail by reviewing date, postage, and barcode accuracy before production
• Identify and communicate errors, including poor-quality or incorrect barcodes
• Troubleshoot and remove mail jams from sorting machines
• Stack, label, and palletize sorted mail
• Assist with inbound and outbound mail/package processing
