DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Our internship program is intended to provide you with a broad understanding of government operations at the state level. In this role, you will conduct property ownership and record searches with County Tax Assessment Offices, County GIS, Docfinity and Land and Building Inventory. This position provides leasing support with securing certificates of insurance from tenants in addition to account receivable assistance, tenant account write off processes and std-199 submissions. You will have the opportunity to assist with property site visits, tours and inspections. As a Bureau of Real Estate Intern, you will have the opportunity to develop skills that align with your future. Work involves:
- Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations and project management tracking
- Master deed and plan identification cataloging and scanning
- Researching and cataloging past property sales
- Performing general administrative tasks as needed
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time or Part-time Internship that will run Spring/Summer 2026.
- Work hours are flexible and will be finalized between selected intern and supervisor.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, 1 day a week in office or as needed. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Internship Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in a college or university in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of the internship.
- You must be willing and able to report to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania during the internship dates. Lodging and transportation are not provided.
- You must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
Additional Requirement:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
