ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  Greet, serve, and engage guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner, creating a welcoming cafe experience.

  Accurately prepare and fulfill food and beverage orders in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation standards.

  
  
• 
  

  Perform cashier duties, including accurate cash handling, processing multiple forms of payment, and operating the POS system.

  
  
• 
  

  Quickly learn and apply service standards, beverage and food recipes, preparation techniques, and POS procedures.

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked barista station; communicate low inventory levels to leadership and assist with stocking and inventory as needed.

  Conduct oneself professionally at all times, with the understanding that all actions and communications are visible to guests.

  
  
• 
  

  Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods, up to approximately eight (8) hours per shift.

  
  

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  Previous retail, coffee shop, cafe, or food & beverage experience is preferred.

  Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions in a fast-paced service environment.

  Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously; basic written communication skills required.

  Maintain a clean, safe, and organized barista station in accordance with food safety, sanitation, and environmental standards.

  Maintain a neat, professional, and guest-ready appearance at all times.
