The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced professional with deep expertise in resource management, consulting operations, and contingent workforce management within a Professional Services environment. As a recognized authority and key contributor, this role within our Resource Management Office (RMO) requires independent judgment, strong business intuition, and a comprehensive understanding of staffing processes, including industry-aligned skill-matching, contractor negotiations, scope development, purchase requisition management, and basic labor law considerations. This position collaborates closely with global delivery teams, including nearshore and offshore resources, partners, customer-facing executives and delivery leadership to achieve revenue targets, optimize labor utilization, and ensure staffing excellence across the portfolio.
What You'll Do:
Resource Brokering
- Optimize project resource assignment based on engagement model (Time and Material, Fixed Price, Ratable), skill alignment, cost, availability, and revenue potential, prioritizing internal sourcing
- Serve as the primary owner for resource requests, assignment confirmations, scheduling assignments, and conflict resolution
- Partner closely with managers to understand consultant skill proficiency, industry experience, career objectives, and training or cross-training needs
- Proactively identify staffing risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Maintain accurate resource assignments and schedules within professional services automation tools
- Deliver timely reporting and analysis on resource supply and demand, utilization forecasting, and subcontractor usage -- both on a regular and ad-hoc basis
- Monitor trends and analyze key resourcing metrics, including under/over-utilization, future staffing needs, and potential recruiting requirements
- Track resource utilization, identify bottlenecks, align to resource plans, manage time-sensitive requests
- Facilitate weekly staffing meetings with delivery management
- Participate in deal assessments and internal deal reviews
Partner Management
- Lead the end-to-end process for identifying, sourcing, and onboarding contingent workers when external resources are required
- Build and maintain strong, multi-level relationships with strategic external partners across all solution areas
- Develop, review, and/or approve partner Statements of Work (SOW)
- Complete purchase order requests and secure approvals within service-level commitments, aligned to delivery start dates
- Request and manage onboarding for partner resources
- Manage cost and revenue forecasting related to partner spend, including weekly burn rate and identifying corrective actions where required
- Maintain an understanding of partner markets, business propositions, capabilities, and industry positioning
- Follow corporate partner usage guidelines and find opportunities to use partners strategically to expand staffing options
Operational Excellence
- Maintain document processes, maintain records, manage accurate consultant skills profiles
- Collaborate with delivery managers regarding demand needs and training opportunities
- Support month-end close activities from both business and operational perspectives
- Apply knowledge of revenue recognition policies and customer invoicing processes
- Support the attainment of regional revenue and margin goals
- Align with and contribute to standard processes used by the RMO
What You'll Need to Succeed
Required Competencies & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in professional services resource management required
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written); proficiency in a second language is a plus
- Strong influencing/negotiation abilities with leaders at all levels
- Demonstrated experience with project financials
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, collaboration tools)
- Demonstrated experience using integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Professional Services Automation (PSA) platforms

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $93,800 -- $179,950 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. In New York, the pay range for this position is $124,300 - $179,950
In Massachusetts, the pay range for this position is $109,700 - $158,900
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
