IMEG is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Regional Business Developer in our New York City / Tri-State area office.

The Regional Business Developer drives IMEG's growth within a defined region by securing new clients and larger, high-value projects. Through proactive prospecting and capture planning, this role expands IMEG's wallet share while aligning regional business development activities with national strategy and revenue goals. The position also supports strong regional brand positioning and promotes a culture of collaboration and cross-selling.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate new client relationships and project opportunities, collaborating with local teams and national sector leaders on pursuit planning and capture strategies

  • Qualify and manage a robust pipeline of leads and regional opportunities with proactive follow-up to advance opportunities through the capture process

  • Actively engage in regional industry organizations, committees, and conferences to represent IMEG and build market visibility

  • Gather and analyze market intelligence, including regional trends, competitors, and client insights to shape pursuit strategies and capture planning

  • Partner with marketing and proposal team members on client-specific positioning, Request for Quote and Proposal responses, and interview strategy and coaching

  • Meet or exceed position Key Performance Indicators and regional growth targets

  • Maintain accurate, timely client and opportunity data in Salesforce to support pipeline visibility and reporting

  • Support firmwide sales enablement and Seller/Doer business development coaching initiatives

  • Collaborate on regional marketing strategies, campaigns, and annual plans that align with business goals, ensuring efforts are intentional and Return On Investment driven

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of Architecture Engineering and Construction industry business development practices, with proven experience in client engagement and pursuit management

  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels

  • Enthusiastic about outreach and persistent in pursuing new opportunities; resilient in facing rejection

  • Polished and capable of representing IMEG at all levels; detail-oriented in all client-facing materials

  • Outgoing, personable, and adept at building rapport with clients and internal partners quickly

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into action

  • Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Ability to travel up to 35% regionally with occasional overnight stays

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field required

  • 5+ years of progressive business development experience in the Architecture Engineering and Construction industry or related professional services environment

  • Demonstrated success leading pursuit strategies and winning large, complex projects

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

Salary Range $175,000 - $225,000. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stockownership options. In addition, IMEG Corp. provides a variety of benefits to employees,including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
