This Position reports to: Talent Acquisition Partner Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite ABB is seeking highly motivated and innovative R&D Engineers to join its talent pool for upcoming opportunities across Electrification, Automation, and Motion businesses at across multiple locations in India including Nashik, Bangalore, Faridabad, and Vadodara. You will be mainly accountable for: Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments. Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities. Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects. Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines. *Our team dynamics* Our teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Qualifications for the role You enjoy working with EPlan / CAD in either of Electrification / Automation / Motion business You have 3 to 8 years of experience in logic building or interlocking, understanding customer requirements, preparing SLD (Single Line Diagram), Schematic drawings, BOM and manufacturing releases for MV switchgear products (Working as Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer - Electrical / Mechanical) Possess an enhanced knowledge of either Eplan / Promise / ElecDesk / CAD / SolidWorks / Highly adept in software platforms like Degree in Electrical / Mechanical engineering from a reputed university (should be full-time) You are at ease communicating in English A Future Opportunity Please note that this position is part of our talent pipeline and not an active job opening at this time.
