Assists in ensuring continuous server performance and reliability through identification, acquisition, installation and maintenance of integrated system components.
• Troubleshoots hardware and software issues detected by monitoring or user reports.
• Advises and consults with IS management and lines of business regarding new server technologies consistent with corporate objectives; provides input on system capabilities and recommends developments and upgrades of server-based systems and processes.
• Provides primary point of contact as systems Business Partner for internal customers.
• Provides routine and ad hoc metrics, reports, and communications on system performance and operation issues.
• Serves on related projects, as needed.
• May assist less experienced staff on system issues.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent Systems Administration work experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience in Windows Administration, Microsoft domain administration and user administration,
• Experience with troubleshooting complex issues, Backup Administration a plus, NTFS Permissions for folders/files in a Windows environment.
• Good understanding of server hardware, software, networking, and storage systems.
• Hands-on experience with one or more server environments and architecture.
• May have knowledge in ITIL processes.
• Good communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data.
• Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good troubleshooting, problem identification and problem resolution skills.

• Salary: $77,000-$100,000 per year and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
