Job Description:

The Learning Enterprise is seeking an experienced Marketing Automation Specialist to join our marketing team. As the Marketing Automation Strategist, you have the ability to make an immediate positive impact on learner experiences. Your mission is to design, build, measure, and improve the effectiveness of our marketing automation using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other leading marketing automation software. You will work closely with our internal service unit teams to cross train and evolve existing (and separate) marcomm journeys. You will collaborate with marketing and recruitment teams across the Learning Enterprise.

 

This role is based at ASU’s Tempe campus. All applicants must be eligible to work in the United States. ASU will not sponsor this position; the applicant must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. A Fingerprint background check is a mandatory step in the hiring process.

 

Position Salary Range:

$90,000-$100,000  per year; DOE

 

Essential Duties:

·         Collaborate & Report: You will lead marketing automation strategies and marcomm considerations across the Learning Enterprise:

·         Cross train with service unit teams to learn current state of marketing automation software utilization and comms journeys.

·         Work with cross-functional teams in the planning, development, and execution of sophisticated marketing automation and nurture programs.

·         Report to internal stakeholders on the impact of marketing automation efforts.  Collaborate with LE senior digital copywriter to obtain content edits and ensure alignment with LE writing style and tone for emails.

 

Write, Build & Automate: You will create compelling content to engage learners at all stages of the marketing funnel and throughout the retention journey:

·         Write and build email marketing campaigns, including individual sends, drip campaigns, and triggered emails to support recruitment and retention efforts.  Build automated campaigns to support digital lead generation efforts, with automated workflow steps including lead record updates, emails, and advisor tasks.

·         Implement and maintain lead scoring criteria to prioritize lead follow-up.

·         Strategize & Optimize: You will implement strategic efforts across our Ai-enabled and data driven learner communication touchpoints:

·         Measure and optimize customer journeys to create a positive student experience and drive engagement, efficiency, and scalability.

·         Complete quality control reviews of all automated campaigns and assets to ensure accuracy and error-free copy.

·         Design and implement A/B and multivariate testing plans.

·         Recommend initiatives for improving results and mitigating melt through the enrollment funnel.

·         Identify and create new segments and deploy dynamic content to enhance customization and scale of content distribution.

 

Desired Qualifications:

·         3+ years of hands-on experience in Marketing Cloud/Exact Target, Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot, ActiveCampaign or a similar marketing automation platform. 2+ years of experience working in or with Salesforce

·         Advanced proficiency with campaign execution, lead workflows/journeys, nurture programs, audience segmentation, lead scoring and more.

·         Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or 6+ years of marketing experience.

·         Familiarity with multi-channel marketing campaigns.

·         Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

·         Landing page creation experience preferred.

·         SAAS software industry, marketing automation experience preferred.

 

Working Environment:

·         Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse; required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work.

·         Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds.

·         Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts.

·         May be required to perform tasks in the field within and/or across University campuses.

·         Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential functions.
