WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: As an Equipment technician you will perform preventative maintenance on equipment, assist with inventory; triage and evaluate equipment when needed. You will work under close supervision to repair, calibrate and maintain basic biomedical equipment, devices and instruments. As a Red Cross Team member, you will take care of your team members - show up for every shift and give 100% while you're there. Pay Information: $24 per hour Shift: Monday through Friday. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule when needed. (May take calls on nights and weekends, in the event of repairs) This role is not eligible for relocation assistance WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
Physical Requirements: Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs frequently and unassisted; Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus. Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools and work with a variety of chemicals and solvents.
