Position Summary

Our Quick Coupling Division in Chetek, WI is looking for new Assembler to help keep the world moving. You will use your hands and machines to build Parker couplings in a safe and sustainable manner.

What Is a Quick Coupling?

Parker's Quick Coupling Division is the largest manufacturer of quick couplings in the world. A quick coupling is used to provide a fast, make-or-break connection of fluid or gas transfer lines. Our *** plant provides critical equipment for many different industries including Agriculture, Construction, Semiconductors, and Data Centers.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
  • Do necessary set-ups on all coupler series assembly equipment. Remove and reset tooling or otherwise adjust machines as required.
  • Recognize irregularities, diagnose, and make necessary adjustments on simple and complex assemblies.
  • Do required maintenance of above equipment within the scope of their training, experience, and capabilities. Know who to call if need be.
  • Perform work required from drawings, Engineering Standards and specifications, Process Instructions, assembly prints, routings, and other operating instructions.
  • Restock assembly areas with raw materials, components, lubricants, and assure general maintenance of equipment. Maintain floor stock.
  • Sorts, deburr (internal and external), assemble, and disassemble products. Assembles highly repetitive units, sub-assemblies, and details where simple adjustments may be required to fit, align, and insure action free or movable parts.
  • Maintain product integrity and quality of assemblies.
  • Responsible for proper packaging of products assigned per verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Check parts produced for dimensional and finish specifications using conventional gauging and SPC. Notify lead of any deviations.
  • Requires care and proper storage of tooling to maintain an organized system for each area.
  • Operate all quality check equipment.
  • Responsible for the final inspection of all assemblies before packaging to ship.
  • Fills out an certifies acceptance test procedures and departmental work logs.
  • Must be willing and able to perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Physical Requirements
  • Continuously lifting and moving light weight material (1-5 lbs.)
  • Frequently lifting and moving average weight material (5-25 lbs.)
  • Occasionally lifting and moving average weight material (25-50 lbs.)

Great Pay - Wage range of $19.58 - $22.08. Along with a pay increase every 6 months, you will be eligible for a profit-sharing bonus.

Work Schedule - 6:00 am 2:00 pm
