The AMSOIL Maintenance team is looking for a Maintenance Technician Intern for summer 2026. The summer internship program typically begins after spring semester and ends before the start of the fall semester. This is an exciting opportunity for students who are highly motivated, enjoy a challenge, and are looking to expand their career. This position reports on-site to the AMSOIL Center in Superior, Wisconsin.


Core Responsibilities:



  • Support the Facilities Engineering and Reliability team by providing hands-on assistance with routine maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance programs, and reliability initiatives.
  • Develop a pipeline of skilled talent for future full-time roles.
  • Assist with Limble implementation and CMMS training.
  • Help with preventative maintenance documentation improvements.
  • Assist with department organization using 5S principles.
  • Support boiler operations and training.


Position Requirements:



  • Must be working towards a technical degree in Industrial Maintenance.
  • Must have completed 1 year (2 semesters) of technical degree.
  • Available 40 hours/week Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. during the summer months.
  • Self-motivated with flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Can work and enjoys working independently with little to no supervision.
  • Excellent organization skills with a keen attention to detail.
