As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Zeeland, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols to help spot unusual activity, support access control, and respond to alarms and incidents. You will stay visible, communicate clearly, document observations, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking lots, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as required, and direct traffic and deliveries to designated check-in areas in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken, and notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Complete routine reporting, including patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications, and assist with basic security-related inspections such as checking doors, gates, and lighting for irregularities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
