As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial office location, you will conduct routine patrols and mobile checks, helping to maintain order and identify security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, so you will move between areas, respond to calls for service, and provide clear customer service-focused communication with tenants, visitors, and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out post orders, access control procedures, and other site-specific policies, and/or assisting with emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office common areas, corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns, and report findings per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing initial assistance and coordinating with property management and/or responding public services when needed.
• Monitor entrances and key areas to help maintain orderly access, verify credentials when required, and direct visitors to appropriate locations.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
