Sales Business Partner

We are looking for a Sales Business Partner who will support our trade partners in the Southeast Region of the U.S., while based in Atlanta, GA.
A sales career withing our Fireplace Business Unit puts you in the position of selling the most popular brands in the industry, and selling a product that people love. To ensure pay transparency, this role is listed with the total target compensation, which includes: base salary and incentive. Please note the incentive component is not capped.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own Your Market with Insight and Strategy: Develop a deep understanding of your assigned territory - including competitors, trade partner dynamics, building codes, and market trends - to confidently position HHT as the preferred choice in the hearth industry. Collaborate closely with leadership to craft innovative strategies that advance market share and brand strength
  • Cultivate High-Quality Partnerships: Build and nurture strong, respectful relationships with trade partners, architects, designers, and builders. Create alignment and commitment that drive sustainable business growth while balancing existing channel relationships
  • Drive Sales with Purpose and Precision: Uncover prospects who are genuinely ready and able to move forward, focusing your efforts where meaningful value can be added. Facilitate a consultative sales process to guide partners through buying decisions that support HHT's strategic plans and key metric goals
  • Deliver Value Through Education and Engagement: Lead effective training sessions, marketing initiatives, and strategic programs that empower your partners and differentiate HHT's brands. Represent the company proactively at industry events and trade shows to build awareness and forge new connections
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work seamlessly within HHT's organization to exchange market intelligence, influence pricing strategies, and ensure smooth execution of sales processes and initiatives
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 or more years professional B2B sales selling experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Demonstrated success in account management and prioritizing opportunities
  • Computer proficiency, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, customer relationship management systems

  • Proven self-starter with strong motivation and a demonstrated passion for achieving success, coupled with high ethical standards and personal integrity
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence at all organizational levels, fostering trusted partnerships that drive business results and organizational change
  • Strong time management and prioritization abilities, combined with compelling communication and selling skills adaptable to both in-person and virtual environments
  • Solid financial acumen to support profitable growth strategies and effectively communicate value propositions to trade partners
