Job Description




As a Security Officer - Mobile Area Patrol in Brookhaven, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver strong customer service while responding to concerns. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting site personnel and following escalation and notification protocols.
  • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, checking identification and/or visitor authorization when required, and directing visitors, drivers, and contractors to approved areas.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activities, patrol observations, and incident response actions, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
