As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a busy retail location, you will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a positive guest experience through strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed within a retail environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor customer and associate activity, observe for potential theft and/or policy violations, and report concerns to onsite management and/or appropriate responders per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear direction to customers and staff and requesting additional support when appropriate.
• Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate key information during shift turnovers, and follow Allied Universal post orders and site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard Card/License - preferred
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
