Job Description




As a Security Officer - TWIC Patrol Driver in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government waterfront facility, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. This is a driving post, so you will also perform patrols by vehicle as needed while delivering strong customer service, clear communication, and teamwork with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures at a government location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facilities, waterfront areas, and perimeter points, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or authorization as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing initial scene management and coordinating notifications to appropriate on-site staff and/or public agencies.
  • Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate professionally with supervisors and site representatives, and assist with traffic direction and/or crowd control during routine operations or special events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
