We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Liquidity Product Owner for LiquidityDirect, our industry leading short end investments platform team. This role is located in New York. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead the development and execution of product strategies by demonstrating expertise in Platforms Product Management, ensuring alignment with BNY's strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product vision and roadmap, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of product enhancements.
- Drive product innovation across Liquidity Solutions, including Client Workflow and Experience, AI/ML use cases, Digital and Tokenization by incorporating internal directive, client feedback and industry trends, thereby enhancing product offerings and maintaining competitive advantage.
- Support product prioritization and backlog in alignment with business goals, ensuring timely and successful product releases.
- Facilitate agile development processes by providing clear guidance and decision-making to ensure efficient product delivery.
- Monitor product performance and metrics, using insights to drive continuous improvement and inform future product strategies.
- 5-10 years of business product management experience in liquidity, cash management, or short-end investments, with a track record of shipping client-facing capabilities.
- Hands-on experience framing AI use cases (classification, recommendation, NLP/LLM interfaces) and working with data science/engineering teams to deliver features end-to-end.
- Understanding of institutional digital assets/tokenization concepts (e.g., distributed ledger basics, smart contract primitives), including regulatory and operational considerations.
- Proficiency in agile product practices (discovery, experimentation, backlog management, iterative delivery) with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements, technical topics and client-centric value driven outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to align cross-functional teams and influence outcomes with data-driven narratives.
- Strong teaming and strategic thinking skills to drive product leadership and execution.
- Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline, advanced degree preferred.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $185,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
