We are seeking a customerfocused, detailoriented Patient Access Representative to join our hospital administration team. This role is ideal for someone with strong healthcare or officebased customer service experience who excels in fastpaced environments and is committed to delivering exceptional care. * Complete full patient registration at time of service * Explain, collect, and verify required hospital and legal forms (Advance Directives, Consent for Treatment, Medicare notices) * Scan and organize Protected Health Information (PHI) * Prepare patient packets for upcoming visits * Assist with scheduling diagnostic procedures and postdischarge followups * Enter accurate scheduling details and provide instructions for upcoming appointments * Educate patients on financial responsibilities * Use compliant, professional collection techniques * Perform cash reconciliation and process payments following hospital financial policies * Verify insurance eligibility and benefits * Complete financial clearance tasks * Obtain authorizations for both scheduled and unscheduled services * Notify payors of inpatient visits Schedule Options * Wednesday-Saturday 6:00a-6:00p * Wednesday-Saturday 1:00p-1:00a * Sunday-Wednesday 9:00a-9:00p * Sunday-Wednesday 6:00p-6:00a * Wednesday-Saturday 7:30a-6:00p Qualifications * Minimum 35 WPM typing speed * Strong working knowledge of PC, CRT, and printers * Able to work in a fastpaced, highvolume environment Work Environment * Hospital administrative setting with potential exposure to patient care areas * Must be available to work hours needed based on departmental demand * May encounter high patient volumes and uncooperative patients * Responsible for resolving patient and physician office concerns Why Join Us? * Opportunity to support hospital operations and deliver meaningful patient experiences * Work in a collaborative environment focused on patient satisfaction * Growth potential within patient access and hospital administrative functions * Contribute to business goals including new client acquisition and service excellence Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, NH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.89 - $22.30/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
