About the Role Our UX Research team designs for the global diversity of human needs. We focus on deeply understanding human behavior to inform experiences that operate at massive scale and touch people around the world. In this role, you'll support research efforts centered on AIenabled wearable experiences, with a strong emphasis on survey design and internal product evaluation ("dogfooding"). You'll work closely with researchers, designers, engineers, and product partners to gather feedback, synthesize insights, and help ensure products are ready for launch. This is a handson role ideal for a researcher who enjoys fast feedback loops, close crossfunctional collaboration, and working in complex, evolving product spaces. What You'll Do Survey Design & Analysis * Design, write, and analyze surveys to support internal product testing and feedback efforts. * Balance quantitative measures with qualitative (freeresponse) questions to capture sentiment, usability issues, and feature positioning. * Translate survey results into clear, actionable insights for crossfunctional teams. * Maintain rigor and clarity in survey methodology, even in fastmoving environments. Dogfooding & Product Feedback * Lead and coordinate dogfooding activities to support product quality and launch readiness. * Partner with crossfunctional stakeholders to collect, synthesize, and communicate feedback. * Identify patterns, risks, and opportunities surfaced through internal usage and testing. Collaboration & Learning * Quickly learn internal tools, workflows, and processes. * Take direction well while operating independently on defined research tasks. * Collaborate beyond dogfooding efforts as needed, supporting broader research initiatives. Adaptability * Thrive in ambiguous, fastpaced environments with evolving requirements. * Ramp up quickly, particularly in complex hardware, AI, software, or networked product domains. Required Qualifications * Proven experience designing, writing, and analyzing surveys. * Experience supporting or coordinating dogfooding or internal testing programs. * Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with crossfunctional partners. * Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly. * Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Seattle or the Bay Area Preferred Qualifications * Experience with qualitative research or mixedmethods approaches. * Background working on complex hardware, AIenabled, cloudbased, or networked products. * Demonstrated ability to onboard quickly and operate effectively in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Menlo Park, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr.
