As the Senior Plant Manager, you are responsible for the overall production operations for Airgas Dry Ice in Star, Mississippi.This position will report directly to the Regional Manager. The highest priority for this role is to be a people-first leader. This includes hiring and training the right people, engaging them to function as a team and weaving safety into every action we take. This position, alongside leadership, will be responsible for driving the Airgas Safety culture. You must have expertise in the implementation, training and execution of lean manufacturing practices, Visual Facility Management, 5S, materials usage and shipping and receiving, as well as capacity planning, safety, production and scheduling. You will provide leadership throughout the production team, with a focus on increased attention to the proactive identification of future challenges, problem resolution to facilitate rapid improvements and improved working relationships among the entire organization.
