Summary: The objective of this requirement is to provide Reserve Component Transition Assistance Advisors located in the 50 states, three territories (Guam, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands) and the District of Columbia to serve as points of contact and resource coordinators, to provide technical support to military managers/supervisors, Reserve Component members, their families and Veterans as to the benefits and entitlements Program to ensure standardization and continuity of service. The purpose of RCTAA Support Services is to ensure all eligible Reserve Component service members have the opportunity to be made aware of the transition services and benefits available to them, their families and Veterans under the laws administered by the Secretary of Defense and benefits and health care furnished under the laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
