Security Patrol Officer for Gardena Branch

As a Security Patrol Officer for Branch in Gardena, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed, driving officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor assigned locations from a company-approved vehicle and on foot, maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, complete routine rounds, respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your team. Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random rounds of buildings, parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards and/or policy violations, and complete required incident and rounds documentation.
• Control access as assigned by the site, including monitoring entrances and verifying visitor credentials in accordance with site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
