Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Patrol in Canyon Lake, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle patrols as a driving post, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to resident concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, complaints, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to onsite leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential streets, amenities, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying credentials, checking visitor authorization, and directing traffic and deliveries according to site-specific procedures.
• Complete detailed reports of patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to ride a bike is required.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
