Job Description




As a Airport Security Officer - Park Team in Honolulu, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time - Overnight

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

    Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 21+ years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and posted rules at a government transportation location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, curbside zones, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-traffic locations; observe for unusual conditions and report concerns through the established chain of command.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities as directed by site procedures.
  • Complete security-related logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate clearly with site personnel and public agency partners as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be able to ride a bike.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
