As a Security Officer - CCTV Monitoring in Gibsonton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific policies, completing required documentation, and directing individuals to appropriate locations within a utilities facility.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or work authorization, manage visitor and contractor sign-in procedures, and issue temporary credentials as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and emergency services when appropriate, and assisting with emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, equipment areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Operate and observe security-related systems such as cameras, intrusion alarms, and communication equipment, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
