Production Manager

Job Title:Production Manager

Location:Pascagoula, MS

Position Overview:The Production Manager directs and supervises all areas and functions of production in accordance with company policy and procedure. Responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the division's facility and equipment assets.

Key Responsibilities:

* Directs the production personnel and process for all shipyards within the division.

* Responsible for ensuring that all production personnel comply with the Company's health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

* Responsible for ensuring that all production personnel comply with the Company's quality control policies and procedures.

* Responsible for ensuring that all production personnel comply with contract provisions and specification requirements in the performance of production services provided by the Company.

* Along with Production Superintendents, provides production input to project estimates and schedules.

* Responsible for the development of production overhead budgets and production management expenditures.

* Approves expenses for all consumables, small tools, and maintenance expenses.

* Defines and directs long and short-term goals for production.

* Promotes a culture of safety while ensuring a positive high-moral across all disciplines.

Qualifications:

* Fifteen (15) years of marine construction experience, including 7 years in a supervisory or management role.

Skills and Abilities:

* Considerable knowledge in all phases of marine construction and fabrication.

* Strong production related management skills and experience.

* Good communication skills including written and oral communication.

* Ability to communicate with internal departments and external customers.

* Considerable knowledge of market conditions and internal capacity issues.

* Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Windows.
