What to Expect
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded, and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our office in Englewood, Colorado, you will work on our Global Product Line Management team as a Global Product Line Manager (GPLM) for our Hydraulic Hose product line, reporting to the Director of Hydraulics.
- You will support the formulation of all short-term and long-term objectives and business plans for their product line globally, including meeting orders, sales, market share, price realization, profitability, VA/VE, quality, delivery and vitality metrics.
- Your objective will be to identify, justify and select new product development projects and marketing programs to obtain desired growth in incoming orders and sales and achieve profitability targets.
- This is an opportunity to collaborate with technical resources to manage the portfolio of organic investments in the product line across the entire product lifecycle from ideation through commercialization and end-of-life!
- You'll be working with sales and customers to capture VOC and incorporate it into product planning and execution.
- You'll be coordinating with global operations to ensure the manufacturability and delivery of product per growth projections.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting P&L for the product line, including strategic planning and tactical execution, to achieve financial and other operating metrics.
- Develop voice-of-customer insight through customer visits, industry association participation, and competitive research to translate customer needs to actionable initiatives.
- Acting as a project manager for the NPD process for the product line to achieve desired results. Ensuring that features, quality, and cost objectives are reached and that schedules are kept. Preparing required market launch materials.
- Supporting all aspects of the new product launch process and commercialization
- Maintaining current knowledge and expertise of product engineering technologies, new product designs, competitor capabilities and practices, market conditions, and market channels to develop short-term and long-term product design and necessary manufacturing strategies.
- Creating and coordinating marketing communications materials for all sales channels, internal and external.
- Continually analyzing and interpreting customer questions, requirements, or problems.
- Supporting the preparation of effective quotations, bids, and related negotiation documentation for the sales of products produced by the company.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Requirements and Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business or Marketing from an accredited institution required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, outside field sales, application and/or product engineering, or business development, along with evidence of continued career progression.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including international travel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence with and without authority
- High level interpersonal and leadership skills; must be able to influence across multiple levels within the company and locations, including establishing global partnerships.
- Strategic mindset and strong business acumen
- Global work experience and perspective
- Familiarity with rubber hose assemblies and production processes is preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and drive change
- Excited to work in the office with great teammates
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Pay & Benefits
- Full-Time
- Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000
- Bonus Eligible
