As a Senior Project Manager within the Care Navigation / Provider Operations Delivery team, you are responsible for leading the delivery of complex initiatives and capabilities that pertain to provider information collected, maintained, stored, and shared from providers and health care services. You are expected to deliver multiple complex projects that impact numerous business areas, coordinating and managing the work associated with all applications and capabilities the Provider Operations group relies on. This will involve working closely with business analysts, business leadership, technology teams, and 3rd party vendors to ensure all associated work is prioritized, coordinated, and documented.

This role is eligible for our E-worker Persona.

This role is inherently cross-functional, and you must be an effective communicator who can influence and build strong business relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are expected to dive deep into the technology from a provider perspective and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate is a problem solver who is passionate about technology, enjoys working collaboratively with engineering and data teams, and is equally comfortable interacting with business units on their needs. You should be someone who works under broad direction, with substantial personal responsibility and autonomy to plan and execute work to meet objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership & Delivery:Define, facilitate, and ensure the satisfactory completion of multiple complex projects, providing effective leadership to cross-functional teams from initiation through delivery.
  • Financial & Risk Control:Take full responsibility for project financial performance by monitoring and managing budgets and forecasts; conduct ongoing risk assessments to systematically identify, evaluate, and mitigate threats and vulnerabilities to project success.
  • Stakeholder Management:Develop and execute stakeholder management plans, ensuring clear communication and fostering collaboration between technical teams, business leaders, and vendors to achieve strategic alignment.
  • Project Controls & Reporting:Establish and operate robust project control solutions for planning, scheduling, and tracking; provide detailed status reports and executive-level communications on progress, risks, and issues.
  • Methods & Process Improvement:Select, adopt, and adapt appropriate project management methods and tools for each project, and contribute your expertise to the continuous improvement of the project management discipline and internal processes.

Experience/Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a role requiring full responsibility for the entire lifecycle of medium-to-large scale projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Project, Kanban, and Agile management platforms
  • Proven experience applying a variety of project management methods and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Clarizen) to plan, track, and report on project performance.
  • Well versed in using Jira to track initiatives, epics, stories, as well as communicate status to stakeholders and leadership
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience defining and executing against both short and long-term roadmap strategies
  • Strong coaching, collaboration, enablement and listening skills
  • Healthcare industry experience, particularly with provider information systems, is highly preferred.

  • Project Execution:Demonstrated capacity to take full responsibility for project outcomes, providing effective leadership to teams, managing dependencies, and ensuring completion against defined objectives.
  • Autonomy & Complexity:Proven ability to work under broad direction, performing a wide range of complex and non-routine activities, and using substantial personal discretion to meet targets.
  • Financial & Risk Acumen:Adept at managing project budgets and expenditures while systematically identifying and mitigating threats to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes.
  • Methodical Application:Proficiency in selecting and applying appropriate project management methods and tools, with a commitment to improving internal processes and providing advice on best practices.

LocationBoston Time TypeFull time Salary Range: $138,447.93 - $174,900.00

The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

This job is also eligible for variable pay.
