IPG Photonics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Administrator to join its expanding IT team. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and securing global infrastructure in a dynamic, high-tech manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, self-driven, and capable of supporting business systems and services that meet organizational goals and service-level agreements (SLAs). Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support infrastructure services, including Microsoft Active Directory, Citrix, Microsoft Exchange, Nutanix, VMware, Veeam Backup, Manage Engine, MDM platforms, and Box.
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft 365 services, Microsoft Purview, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Azure AD.
- Manage identity and access solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tenant migrations, including tenant-to-tenant and Google Workspace (G Suite) to Microsoft 365 migrations.
- Administer AWS environments, including licensing, platform deployment, and connectivity.
- Maintain tenant security controls and spam-filtering systems.
- Monitor infrastructure and business applications to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Ensure infrastructure systems meet security, compliance, and data integrity standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve technical issues.
- Manage assigned projects, provide weekly status updates, and identify risks before they impact timelines.
- Create and maintain system configuration and troubleshooting documentation.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support.
- Lead vulnerability remediation efforts and system patching cycles.
- Manage, triage, and resolve IT support tickets while meeting SLA targets.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain infrastructure hardware and systems.
- Participate in outage and incident response bridge calls as needed.
- Knowledge of Hello systems or visitation software is helpful.
