Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a fitness program, ensuring high standards of service and facility maintenance. Manages staff, develops programs, and ensures that the program meets its operational and financial goals.

Essential Function
-Supervises fitness club staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
-Ensures the fitness club is clean, safe, and well-maintained in compliance with health and safety regulations.
-Develops and implements fitness programs and activities to meet the needs and interests of club members.
-Monitors and manages the fitness club's budget, including expenses and revenue, to achieve financial targets.
-Reviews and analyzes member feedback to continuously improve services and address any issues.
-Promotes and markets the fitness club's programs and services to attract and retain members.
-Handles member inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
-Coordinates with other departments to ensure seamless operation and integration of services.
-Generates and reviews reports on club performance and operational metrics to drive improvements.

Education
Bachelor's Degree Sports Fitness required or Bachelor's Degree Cardiopulmonary & Exercise Science required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Experience in health, wellness or fitness programs, preferably in a healthcare setting. 3-5 years required and Supervisory or leadership experience. 2-3 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Knowledge of fitness program development and health & safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial performance.
- Proficiency in fitness equipment and facility management.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
