KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our Enterprise Contracting Center: Federal Government organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply an introductory understanding of contract administration to support the day-to-day operations of a diverse portfolio of GSA Federal Supply Schedules, Multiple Award Schedules, GWACS, and IDIQ's, and other federal contracts
  • Support GSA Schedule/vehicles ongoing required reporting, fee remittance, and audit readiness support; and administrative and enhancement Modifications (Authorized Negotiator, SIN additions, Rate adjustments); maintain GSA Schedule catalog and reporting files
  • Draft agreements and other contractual documentation under supervision by managers/administrators in accordance with firm procedure and guidance for day-to-day use
  • Maintain formal contract records in accordance with established policy and procedures; proactively identify processing issues, such as unfamiliar non-standard language and provide solutions or escalate to leadership as necessary
  • Proactively identify opportunities for innovation within tasks and processes that contribute to the improved efficiency and effectiveness of the workgroup
  • Facilitate communication with appropriate internal parties, including Finance, Office of General Counsel, and external parties
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum one year of recent experience in customer service relations and/or contract administration, preferably within a large IT environment, professional services firm, or similar environment
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or one-year equivalent work experience; Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, customer service-oriented environment; excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail and documentation; intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • General knowledge of contract management and related processes; contract review/analyst, with GSA Schedule experience is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication, reading comprehension, and critical thinking skills with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; capability to work collaboratively with the team as well as independently
