What You'll Achieve at SANS

We are seeking a Vice Provost of Enrollment Management to join our SANS Technology Institute team. This role isresponsible for driving institutional growth through integrated oversight of marketing, admissions, and business development. This role will shape and execute the college's go-to-market strategy, expanding awareness of the SANS Technology Institute and growing student enrollment across all programs.

The Vice Provost provides data-driven vision and leadership to unify marketing, admissions, and sales enablement efforts under a shared strategy focused on lead generation, brand awareness, conversion optimization, and partnership development. The successful candidate will bring creativity, analytical rigor, strong collaboration skills to build strategic partnerships, enable the SANS sales team as an internal partner, and ensure sustained enrollment growth aligned with the college's mission.

This leader will play a key role in identifying new markets and audiences, including employer partnerships, international learners, and new-to-cyber markets, helping SANS.edu extend its reach and impact globally.

As a Vice Provost of Enrollment Management, you will:

Strategic Leadership



  • Develop and implement a comprehensive, multi-year enrollment growth strategy aligned with institutional goals.
  • Lead and integrate marketing and admissions teams to create a seamless prospective student experience from awareness through enrollment.
  • Partner with the Provost and leadership team to shape and execute the college's go-to-market strategy, ensuring alignment across programs, audiences, and delivery formats.
  • Establish clear performance goals and KPIs to evaluate marketing effectiveness, recruitment success, and enrollment yield.


Growth and Market Expansion



  • Identify and implement new growth opportunities, including partnerships with other colleges and universities, the SANS sales organization, employers, and industry associations.
  • Expand awareness and reach within key markets, including cybersecurity professionals, transitioning veterans, and employer-sponsored learners, as well as new-to-cyber audiences.
  • Develop market-specific strategies and partnerships to establish a stronger global footprint and attract diverse, mission-aligned students.
  • Drive innovation in enrollment approaches, leveraging data analytics, digital campaigns, and CRM insights to improve targeting and conversion.


Market and Brand Leadership



  • Oversee the Director of Marketing in developing integrated marketing strategies that strengthen brand visibility and differentiate SANS.edu in the cybersecurity education landscape.
  • Champion consistent messaging across all channels, highlighting the college's outcomes, quality, and student success.


Admissions Oversight



  • Supervise the Director of Admissions to ensure data-informed recruitment and a high-touch admissions experience that reflects SANS.edu's values.
  • Drive continuous improvement in lead management, application processing, and conversion workflows.


Cross Functional Collaboration



  • Partner with the academic, financial, and operations teams to ensure enrollment strategies align with program capacity and institutional goals.
  • Collaborate with operations team to enhance reporting, forecasting, and performance dashboards.
  • Represent the college externally with key stakeholders, partners, and industry organizations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.



What We're Looking For

Every SANS employee brings something unique. For this role, we're looking for candidates with:



  • Master's degree required
  • Proven record of developing and executing data-driven enrollment and marketing strategies that deliver measurable growth.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, lead generation, and CRM systems
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills, with the ability to think both strategically and operationally.
  • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including corporate partners and educational institutions.
  • Experience managing high-performing teams across marketing and admissions.
  • Ten or more years of progressive experience in enrollment management, marketing, or strategic growth roles within higher education or professional training organizations.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the USA; visa sponsorship is not available.
