DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Specialist, you will perform professional and administrative work assisting with the risk management (RM) and quality improvement (QI) program operations for the facility. You will support the efforts of interdisciplinary staff by managing, analyzing, and presenting information related to quality improvement functions; collaborate with quality assurance professionals to develop and implement structured operations, evaluate studies, and monitor service delivery; and establish QI goals, objectives, and standards to evaluate the quality and safety of individual care. This role requires strong analytical skills and effective communication to evaluate facility-wide information and facilitate work groups developing strategic operational and organizational improvement plans. In addition, you will maintain facility databases, provide technical assistance regarding data organization, and participate in committees. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime and possible travel as needed
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of professional experience as a member of a multiple disciplinary treatment team in a public or private health care facility and a bachelor's degree; or
- Two years of clinical experience in an human services agency, including one year of administrative, evaluative, or consultative experience in a health care program; and a bachelor's degree with major course work in social work, nursing, health care administration, behavioral sciences or a related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
