Job Purpose

This position manages the EnerSys Operating System (EOS) transformation efforts. This position implements and supports actions that bring about improvements to operation and process which may include, but are not limited to, safety, quality, delivery, cycle time, and inventory levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop / Deploy Lean Roadmap / Transformation Plan (EnerSys Operating System) in allocated areas (direct/functional) accordingly in alignment with Corporate Lean Roadmap (5S, MDI, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping & Design, MMF, CCF)Preparing miscellaneous certificates for EnerSys & its subsidiaries
Qualifications

Required

  • Proven Lean Background. Experience-based on sustained continuous improvement results.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills in use of MS Office, with ability to create spreadsheets for analysis and tracking data-based metrics.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to understand and manage complex cross-functional business process projects.

Preferred

  • Lean, Six Sigma or project management qualifications are desirable.
  • Preferred experience in battery manufacturing and Six Sigma and/or lean manufacturing.
General Job Requirements
  • This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
