What you'll do

Job Responsibilities

  • Vision, Design, and Deployment of Quality Processes
    • Provide leadership in setting the vision, as well as designing, developing, and deploying critical quality processes for the Quality workstream. Ensure these processes support organizational goals and drive continuous improvement across the business.
    • Promote a quality-first and no-fault-forward mindset throughout the business. Drive the implementation of an end-to-end quality management system (QMS) and effective change management through employees, enhanced processes, and integrated systems.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Requirement Definition
    • Act as the quality champion within the Plan to Fulfill workstream and its sub-groups. Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and define quality requirements, ensuring that benchmark processes are delivered to support the organization's transformation efforts.
    • Engage proactively with key stakeholders to understand and prioritize business requirements. Plan and execute solutions that address these priorities, ensuring alignment with the broader objectives of the program and workstream.
  • Adaptive Project Leadership
    • Demonstrate agility in shifting focus between strategy, planning, and execution throughout different phases of the project. Maintain flexibility to ensure successful delivery of program and workstream objectives.
  • Governance and Consistency
    • Champion the key governing principles of the transformation project. Drive the development of future state solutions that are consistent across capabilities and workstreams, ensuring that solutions are simple, efficient, and scalable.
  • Cultural Change Leadership
    • Lead as a cultural change agent by involving, engaging, and influencing stakeholders. Promote open communication, guide stakeholders through the change journey, and empower them to act as change agents throughout the organization.
  • Digital Transformation and Visibility
    • Transform the company's use of digital tools and systems to provide end-to-end visibility from a quality perspective. Equip employees with actionable intelligence, tools, and data to maximize efficiency and support scalable, robust processes.
    • Reimagine and redesign processes to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and connect data and intelligence. Understand data flows and system connectivity across the company to develop processes and systems that enable insight-driven decision making.
Who we're looking for

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6-8 years of management experience. An advanced degree preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related field. MBA or master's preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in operations consulting, strong knowledge of operational processes, systems and tools, and improvement initiatives including experience in process digitalization and digital transformation in leading/fast growth companies.
  • Experience in market analytics for new tools and process improvements for complex, high growth companies.
  • Storyteller with an ability to drive organizational change management.
  • Consistently shows exponential thinking and incremental execution.
  • Understanding of best practices in the industry and application to real life.
  • Proficient knowledge of the systems implementation and development life cycles.
Preferred qualifications

Quality Skills:

  • Hands on operational experience in manufacturing.Expereince in Semiconductor equipment manufacturing or heavy equipment is a plus.
  • Quality Certifications such as Auditor for ISO 9001 2015 / IATF 16949, CQE, Six-Sigma Black Belt a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in quality with working experience on critical quality tools like Pareto Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Process Control, FMEA, etc.
  • Experience driving process improvement is a plus

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $114,000.00 -$253,000.00.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
